Cliff Butler - Osteopath

Cliff commenced osteopathic practice in 2003 and strives to provide the Western Suburbs with the highest standard of cutting edge health care.

Cliff enjoys problem solving, treating sporting injuries, pregnancy related issues, infants and children with specific focus on patient orientated goals. A strong foundation in structural diagnosis and treatment forms the basis of Cliff’s practice; his more recent interests include empowering patients to achieve long-term solutions to their health issues through efficient movement, primarily achieved though Clinical Pilates.

Megan Caporn - Osteopath

Megan has a particular interest in the body's innate capacity to heal itself and enjoys working with patients to achieve their specific treatment goals.

Megan completed her osteopathic studies at RMIT, undertaking a masters degree in the field of geriatrics and general health in society. This has focused her attention on the affects of lifestyle and aging on the health and wellbeing of her patients.

Having played competitive hockey for a number of years, Megan understands the stresses that sport can place on the body, this gives her a distinct advantage when treating physically active people. Whilst she enjoys treating people from all walks of life, Megan has a particular interest in women's health and is looking forward to working with mothers during their pregnancy and their growing families.

Stuart Wright - Myotherapist

After making a lifestyle change and completing his studies at Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy, (which he duxed by the way) Stu has been helping people reach their potential, whether in a sporting environment or through assisting clients with injuries, in rehabilitation and injury prevention.

Stu is also a qualified personal trainer and believes that individuals need to consistently combine appropriate exercise with targeted recovery and good nutrition, plus a "can-do" attitude to get the most out of life.

Tim Ischia - Osteopath

As an Osteopath, Tim believes strongly in creating a proactive experience for every patient; identifying the problem, fixing it and taking the appropriate steps to ensure that the issue is resolved in the long term. Tim is able to apply a range of treatment modalities including soft tissue massage, stretching and mobilization to help relieve pain. 

He enjoys applying the principles of exercise rehabilitation to educate and empower every client to have an active role in ensuring positive long-term outcomes. If Tim isn't in the clinic he's probably strumming a guitar and would love to talk with you about your favorite band.

Loren Gribble - Osteopath

Loren enjoys treating a variety of conditions from sporting injuries, postural issues, neck and back pain to pregnancy related issues. Loren's caring personality is evident in her approach to osteopathy. She is passionate about promoting overall wellbeing and is committed to helping her patients achieve their personal goals and maintain health and fitness.

Loren loves playing netball and keeping active. She enjoys spending qualitytime with family and friends and getting outdoors or to the beach when she can.

Declan is a local Williamstown lad who's excited about improving the health of the local community. Declan is specifically interested in improving peoples functional capacity with respect to joint moment and thus helping them return to the things they love to do, be it sport, gardening or simply living without pain.

Leisa Barber - Osteopath

Leisa was initially drawn to Osteopathy because of its consideration of a person in their entirety; including their lifestyle, goals as well as their bodies. Her passion is to empower her patients with individualized education, exercises and support, enabling them to achieve their optimal health and wellbeing, and lead active fulfilling lives.

Having doubled as a sports trainer for multiple years, Leisa enjoys treating and managing sports injuries incurred by both high-level athletes and weekend warriors. Outside of sports, Leisa treats people of all ages with a wide range of conditions, including back and neck pain, headaches, postural issues, sciatica and digestive problems.

 

Angela Mamalis - Pilates Instructor

Angela is a qualified Pilates Instructor holding a Certificate IV in Pilates and a Teacher Certificate in Pilates Studio Training.

Angela brings a depth of experience working in the areas of education, health and fitness and the performing arts as a manager, educator and coach. Angela draws from all of these areas to design Pilates programs that are wholistic nature. Angela has been teaching pilates and group fitness classes for over two decades.

Each class is designed for individual needs but delivered within a group environment. Each class incorporates breathing, body awareness and correct alignment and progress to movements that strength, flexibility and endurance. There is always a sense of achievement, enjoyment with a hint of challenges knowing that the possibilities are endless. Above all Angela encourages an open and respectful partnership with each client.

 

Brooke Gittings - Pilates Instructor

Brooke was introduced to the Pilates method after acquiring a dance injury competing at a National Salsa competition. A prescription of physio treatment and Pilates classes 3 times weekly ensured she was able to resume participation in the competitive dance circuit successfully, placing as high as 2nd nationally and many 1st place state titles. Her successful dance career also lead her to become a dancer with the ELA dancers supporting The Cat Empire world tour 2013 and featured in their music video “Steal the light”.

Through her own successful results Brooke was inspired to become a Pilates instructor and studied her 1st Pilates qualification under Louise Taube. Always striving to enhance her knowledge Brooke is currently studying a Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction (91491NSW)

Combining her career as a dancer , using Pilates for rehabilitation and fitness , with her career as a Pilates Instructor, Brooke has been teaching the Pilates method to a diverse range of clients for over 4 years and looks forward to many more successful years in both.

Brooke takes regular Pilates sessions with Sara Colquhoun to continue to develop herself as an instructor of the Pilates method, as well as attending numerous workshops for professional development. She will also be travelling to New York to continue her training in the method whilst dancing in events along the east coast of America.

Chris Bell - Osteopath

Chris has always been fascinated by the human body and was originally drawn to Osteopathy because of its holistic approach to treatment and individualized patient care. Having played high level basketball and football Chris has been exposed to the benefits and positive impact Osteopathy can have in the treatment and management of acute and chronic injuries.

During a recent Osteopathic placement in India, Chris found huge satisfaction in helping people return to doing the things they love and improving their quality of life. Chris likes to work together with patients to achieve their goals by motivating them to take an active role in their health and wellbeing.

Chris leads an active lifestyle and has a love for the great outdoors and travel. In his spare time he enjoys surfing, fishing, camping and watching AFL (the mighty tigers) with his friends.

Alex D’Agostin - Osteopath

Alex grew up in the local area and is passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of her local community.

Alex has a keen intrest in sport injuries and recovery.

Alex graduated from Exercise and Sport Science in 2012 majoring in sport rehabilitation before moving on to study Osteopathy. Alex has had many years experience as a sports trainer and running coach and is now working with the Williamstown Lacrosse club in their injury prevention and management program. If you’re returning to running or looking to increase your distance, Alex is keen to meet you.

Alex loves being outdoors and competing and coaching in long distance running and triathlons.

Anthony Garnier - Myotherapist

Anthony is an accomplished myotherapist with extensive experience in general practice and elite sport.

Anthony specialises in holistic treatment of acute and chronic injuries to help people maintain a healthy body through myofascial release, massage, and dry needling.

Anthony completed his Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy with honours at the Australian College of Sports Therapy, and undertook a post graduate certificate in Clinical Exercise Physiology at Charles Sturt University.

He has worked with the Australian Ballet, world tour cycling teams (IAM and Dimension Data) and Supercats Basketball. He has treated professional athletes at European, Commonwealth and Olympic level, and managed the massage department at the Geelong Football Club. He also served as a Board member of Myotherapy Australia for two years.

Anthony is passionate about providing treatment that helps people to achieve their personal goals. He also loves road cycling and keeping fit and active.

Yuma Humphill - Intern Osteopath

We are extremely excited to have local boy Yuma Hemphill join us while he completes his internship as part of his final year studies.

Yuma has been working in the student clinic at RMIT for the last 2 years developing a strong focus on understanding patients needs and goals. He believes this helps him generate a unique treatment approach for each individual.

He's grown up in Williamstown and plays football with local amateur team the CYMS, so he's seen his fair share of sporting injuries.

Yuma will be working closely with our team and is available for a reduced rate on Wednesday and Friday afternoons.

Sydney Minton Henry

Sydney Minton Henry was born in British Columbia, Canada, where she began her dance studies at Goh Ballet and further continued at Northern Ballet in the U.K for three years.

In 2010 Sydney changed her classical focus direction to contemporary, joining Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, in Israel for the dance journey program. Wanting more knowledge about movement Sydney decided to expand with Pilates, she was introduced to Pilates over 10 years ago.

As a dancer Sydney fell in love with the classical Pilates method of balanced body, mind and spirit, and found it very helpful towards dance. In 2013 she took the plunge into the world of Joseph Pilates, and studied under Veronica McClurg and Matilda Christensen. The only 2 teacher trainers of Classical Pilates in Canada, and graduated the Teacher Training Program of The Pilates Center Boulder Colorado.
